Lucia Macháčková

Lucia joined the team of the Security Academy's programme under the umbrella of the European Values Center for Security Policy in 2022, after a three-month internship where she co-organised the European Values Summit. In addition to the Security Academy, her agenda also included work on several Erasmus+ projects (Creativity vs. Disinformation or Strengthening Cooperation and Mutual Understanding between the Czech Republic and the Eastern Partnership: Youth Engagement in Civic and Political Affairs - both of these projects focused on youth participation activities). Lucia graduated in European Studies from Comenius University in Bratislava, where during her studies she researched the issue of Slovak online disinformation platforms that address political issues while promoting far-right ideologies. Lucia, a recent graduate herself, brings to CIS two years of experience in the preparation and implementation of international projects focused on youth education and employability and intends to apply and further develop related skills here.
