Klára Veverka

Klára worked with the European Values Center for Security Policy (EVC) until June 2023. During her 9 years at EVC, she spent 8 years in management and 4 years as Deputy Director of Operations and Human Resources. While at EVC, she was instrumental in implementing the internal processes needed to sustain the continued growth of the organization. In addition to taking care of dozens of international staff members and dozens of interns from 10-15 countries every year, Klara led an educational program for high school students at EVC for 3 years, participated in the organization of various event formats from international conferences to closed roundtables or contributed to project applications for both institutional and private donors. She completed her Bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, where she also worked for the Europe Direct network of information centres. In addition to her work in the non-profit sector, she and her husband are involved in a business focused primarily on escape games. Since autumn 2019, she has been combining work with parental responsibilities
