Together with the Association for International Affairs and the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, the Centre for an Informed Society has prepared a series of Resilient Europe events from 8 to 10 October 2024. This was a forum aimed at strengthening strategic communication and countering disinformation. It aimed to share best practices from different countries and learn from their successes and mistakes in strengthening democratic principles, countering authoritarianism and populism, and uniting society against divisive influences.
Together with our partners, we delivered a strong message - defending and strengthening our democratic institutions is a shared responsibility; a responsibility that belongs to governments, NGOs, civil society and all of us.
Over 250 participants from 33 countries attended the program, which took place at three different locations in Prague over three days. The Centre for an Informed Society will use the insights from this event to advocate for fundamental reforms and safeguards to make our democracies more resilient.
