Academy for Assistants of Members of the Parliament

The aim of the program, launched in the spring of 2022 within the framework of the European Values Center for Security Policy, is to increase the expertise and competence of assistants to Members of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in the field of security and foreign policy through regularly organised lectures and workshops with leading experts from the Czech and foreign security community, mentoring, networking with their foreign counterparts, and domestic and international study trips.

The Academy provides assistants to Members of Parliament of the Czech Republic with a unique opportunity to discuss the work of an assistant by sharing the experience of assistants and professionals from the German Bundestag, the National Council of the Slovak Republic or the European Parliament.
